BLS HEALTHCARE PROVIDER
The aim of this course is to teach CPR and 'relief of foreign body obstruction' to medical, para-medical and allied healthcare professionals
Course Content:
- Adult and Paediatric CPR, including two rescuer scenarios
- Use of bag valve mask and barrier devices
- Management of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO)
- Use of AED's
Course Duration
The course takes 5:30 hours to complete
Evaluation
Participants are evaluated through skill testing and a written evaluation of multiple choice questions.
Certification
Irish Heart Foundation course completion cards are given upon successful completion of the course.
